125 & 135 Leeward - Save Water

Updated: Jan 30, 2022

City pipes have burst. Plumbers are working to resolve a drainage issue in 125 Leeward. The clogged water is seeping into the basement. Water shutdown may be necessary for a while.

Residents of 125 and 135 Leeward Glenway are requested to conserve water, limiting water consumption only for emergency personal needs. Constant water use within the units is adding to the basement flooding.

Plumbers completed their work on our property. The remaining scope of work is now a city issue. The city is dealing with many frozen pipe issues, therefore they cannot respond immediately.

Is this property zoned for commercial use?

This involves a change in the Common Elements. Will the Board properly with the legal process set out in the Condo Act?

Condo Corporations are not supposed to be landlords.

The Declaration prohibits operating a business here.

I actually had this idea years ago, and discovered it isn't an easy task. Might be impossible, would definitely cost a lot in legal fees, etc.
